Five Essential Elements Blog: Conflict
There is conflict in EVERY movie and the ones that stick out to the most are usually superhero movies. The Dark Knight has many conflicts but the Joker planning to kill a boat full of prisoners or a boat full of innocent people takes the cake. The Dark Knight must stop Joker so no one dies, since it is a superhero movie he obviously gets to save them. Like in movies there is also conflict in life. In life people can go through a lot. The type of conflict most people may have is themselves. A person's conscious makes people second guess or doubt themselves. This occurs in what can be a person's worst time, a time where you need a quick decision. The decision you made quickly could be something the person regrets. An idea for conflict in a film could be not knowing what to do in a situation so two different sides can be filmed the story of one decision and the story of another both just have a few key differences.

My Film Job
Although I would like my film job to be a director, I am going to go with wanting to be an editor. The editor, well edits the film and helps the director and producer achieve what they are trying to achieve. I think the editing job better suits me. I don't really see myself as the creative type so I would rather leave that part to someone who better fits the role. The reason of being an editor is that I like to work with computers and I would like the experience of editing a film. I have edited a little bit in 6th grade but not to the degree where you can insert music and deal with sound and film separately. It's something I would like to learn to do. More importantly it's something I would like to do, why do something if you're not going to like doing it.
