Compassionate Science
The sciences are filled with a variety of ways to help and learn. There are doctors, engineers, biologists, etc. These compassionate sciences can help the world by saving lives as well as making them better. Doctors save lives everyday by giving you vaccines to deadly diseases, by operating surgeries on tumors, and by making sure you are healthy enough to live another fifty years. The vaccines doctors recieve are made by scientists who are trying to stop the unhealthy pathogens from bringing down your immune system. Engineers better lives by creating new designs for machines that can help out. There are cars that drive themselves which can help the blind people. There are prosthetic limbs which bring back a person's leg or arm so they can simply do what any other person can. There are many ways in which sciences can better the lives of many and it is the goal for some of us to help out as well.

The Future!
In around 15 years I expect another war to have broken out due to lack of resources. Some country is going to want to take over other countries with more fossil fuels to keep their electricity running. Military technology will have improved to the point where bombs will not be being used anymore instead there will be lasers for more precise aim and fewer casualties, and hopefully lightsabers because face it, it would be cool to own a lightsaber. Further down the road maybe 50 years from now we will have colonized on another planet or have had at least been able to travel around our galaxy. If not we will be getting some sort of alternative fuel from another planet that lasts longer. With colonization wars will start between countries to claim ownership of whole planets instead of land the size of a continent. One hundred years from now it might be peaceful as different countries will have had expanded to separate planets. Animals will have evolved to adapt to new planets because most likely a pet will escape captivity. Earth will have had become a play to sell and trade between different planets/nations. Of course once it has become peaceful aliens will arrive among us in peace but humans who are shocked will probably kill one and start war once again because the aliens will want to protect themselves. Inter-galactic space travel will arrive way further in the future maybe 5,000 years.

One Time I Laughed Real Hard
I've laughed real hard lots of times but I can't really remember how I came about to laughing except for one. When I was in 4th grade, so around more or less 9 years old. I was at my friends house, he lived across the street and his neighbors was another friend of ours. The one's whose house we were at had a "scary" mask, more hideous if anything. We were outside in his front lawn and he pulls out the mask and starts chasing us (now that I am older it's not really funny but then it was just plain hilarious) and there was this wooden power line pole. And me and my other friend ran across the street just to get away knowing he wouldn't cross. But he ran towards our voices and ran right into the pole. Me and my other friend could not stop laughing, it was like a scene from a comedy movie, he ran into the pole and fell backwards to the floor. He took off the mask and starts rubbing his head and said oww. Maybe it was the fact that karma got him back real soon or because we were young enough to think slap-stick was hilarious but we could not stop laughing at him for crashing into that pole. I was crying from so much laughter and my friend was on the sidewalk just holding his stomach from so much laughing while my other friend just stared at us from across the street sitting on the floor rubbing his head.

Blog #3 Modern Times Review
Modern times was a great movie from 1936. It was funny and yet touching. Charlie Chaplin made something amazing that was different from what his original script. The music would always fit the tone the movie had at specific parts. The movie was comical having crazy situations such as being sucked into a machine, as well as being beaten by one. Even though it had a sort of comical side it was touching in the fact that the little tramp wasn't rich he was just another worker in a factory doing his job well enough to get literally consumed by it, the little tramp was the little man. It was great to see a happy ending in a film filled with lots of poverty, a nice walk into the sunset. But the fact was that it's amazing this was all away from his original script, having talking throughout the whole film instead of just certain parts, being taken away from a beginning of a sci-fi to something that was modern. Chaplin probably couldn't have had a better movie than what was ended up with.
